What a crazy year all round!  I’ll just leave it at that!  But through it all we kept plugging away and trying to make as much of a difference as possible!  I want to thank you for your readership over the past year and a huge thank you to all that came out to one of my workshops.  I absolutely loved hitting the road and plan to do even more in 2018.

So without further ado, here is the countdown of the top 10 posts of 2017 based on page visits!

#10  Williamsburg Breakfast Bread

This has hit the top 10 for the past three years!  It’s that good.  I promise!

#9  The Secret Carrot Cake Recipe

Another oldie but goodie.  Both the Williamsburg Breakfast Bread and the Carrot Cake recipes were held close to my mom until she passed.  These are her legacy recipes!

#8  Breaking Up is So Hard

2017 marks the year that I stop hating on myself for not being thin…this recounts my big breakup.

#7 The Days Are Long

This was the year that Zain hit middle school and I lament how quickly time flies!

#6  Recycled Thoughts

Just like in the Breaking Up is So Hard post, this is my first step to loving myself completely.  Negative thoughts have no place here!

#5  White Chocolate Party Mix

I haven’t posted a recipe all year, but my tried and trues keep coming up as favorites!

#4 Gifted

This was a fun one to do accounting my pitfalls of not being labeled “gifted” as a child, but think everyone is actually very gifted!

#3 I Am Grateful For

This post is a cute video from Zain telling everyone how to make your very own grateful wall.

#2 I’m Not That Mom

This is a must read for all moms.  This is me being very honest about what I will and won’t do as a mom.  I think you can relate!

#1  Date Cake

This one is a bit of a false first as it was posted on a forum for Ramadan with a bjillion hits, but it really is an awesome recipe!

I look forward to sharing with you my trials, tribulations and aha moments in 2018!
